With sea views, it is only 100 metres from the main marinas, yacht clubs and the bustling Cowes high street. Local amenities, shops, pubs and restaurants are within a stone’s throw. The Red Funnel services are within walking distance as are all main transport links. Rookwood is in a perfect location for yachtsmen, as well as a great base for families who wish to explore the island and have a short break, or a fabulous long holiday.

The accommodation comprises:

Hallway, leading off to the SITTING ROOM which has 2 x two seater and 1x three seater contemporary leather sofas, a widescreen, Digital TV (including Freeview channels) with DVD and video players. It has beautiful, original wooden floors. This room leads into the new KITCHEN/DINER which is fitted with modern cabinets and has a slate floor. It is equipped with a four-ring gas hob, a built in eye-level electric oven/grill, a washer/dryer, a fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, kettle and microwave. There is a large long dining table, comfortably seating ten. The kitchen leads out directly onto the GARDEN, which has recently been landscaped and decking laid to the rear. Tables and chairs seat 10 in the garden - perfect for an evening in the sun with friends, at the sizzling BBQ that is provided, or simply unwinding after a day on the water.

Also on the ground floor is BEDROOM 1. This room has twin beds, with a full size roller-bed. tucked underneath one bed  It is equipped with a chest of drawers and hanging stand. There is a half-landing with WC and washbasin.

On the First Floor is BEDROOM 2 which has twin beds, with one roller-bed. It is equipped with chest of drawers and a wardrobe.

BEDROOM 3 has twin beds, a small chest of drawers and a fabric wardrobe.

BEDROOM 4 has twin beds, small chest of drawers and a hanging rail. This bedroom leads onto an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a WC, washbasin and bath with a shower attachment.

A SHOWER ROOM is also located on this floor with large shower cubicle with modern electric Gainsborough shower, washbasin and WC.

OUTSIDE there is a decked area directly outside the kitchen with large table and seating. There are steps up to a grassed lawn, leading to the decking at the rear. Parking is on-street.

20, Beckford Road has full gas central heating and is comfortably furnished. It is fully equipped including duvet covers, sheets, pillowcases, towels and tea towels. Please note that PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED and the owners ask that visitors DO NOT SMOKE inside the house.
